Attitude Sports was founded when Dave Haase got tired of being an outside rep for a local fishing tackle company bought Hopper's Ski & Sport on Johnson Street in Fond du Lac. He added bikes the offering to satisfy his love of cycling (and to get good deals on bikes for himself). He changed the name to Attitude Sports and reopened in May of 1995.
After 5 years in that location, Attitude had outgrown it's cramped space and moved across and down the street to Seymour St. next to Rainbow Screen Printing. With a low ceiing and a strange leftover smell from a pottery place, Attitude continued to grow and made two of it's greatest acquisitions: Chris Schultz and Justin Kelley, both of which are still working here today.
In the summer of 2007, Dave and his crew spent countless hours refurbishing the St. Louis Church, planning to move there in the fall. Tragically, the St. Louis Church burned, leaving Attitude Sports nearly homeless. Thankfully, we were able to extend our lease at the Seymour location (at a screamingly high rate) until the church could be demolished and replaced with the building we're in today. Anytime Fitness moved into the remaining space in the spring and business has been booming ever since.
Today, Attitude Sports continues to grow it's business with quality brands, a wide selection of product, and expert service. We hope that you stop in soon, and we hope that you leave as a new friend.
