This adapter spaces out the Steel Hitch allowing bike frames with hooded/tight rear dropouts to have hitch clearance. This adapter is also used in breezer style dropout applications for proper hitch installation.

Find new horizons and discover new trails when you hitch your bike to a Coho XC® cargo trailer using the Coho® Thru Axle. Designed for bikes with 12mm thru-axles, the Coho Thru Axle is available in multiple thread pitches and lengths to accommodate a wide range of bikes. Note: The Coho Thru Axle is required for any bike with a 12mm rear thru-axle to connect to the Coho XC. Stock axles are not compatible with the Coho XC hitching system.

This part connects the trailer with a round tow bar to the hitch. It attaches inside the tow bar and locks in place inside the hitch using a retaining pin (Standard Forged Hitch & Steel Hitch) or bolt and nut (Classic Hitch). This flexible connector can stretch easily to allow the rider to lay down the bike. Includes safety strap with retaining pin for use with the Standard Forged Hitch or Steel Hitch. If being used with the Classic Hitch the Classic Hitch Safety Strap (part 950067) will also need to be purchased.

Perfect for cross country skiing or snow shoeing, the Ski Kit attaches to the wheel axle with a push button system. The adjustable, lightweight tow bars connect to the trailer side mounts and lead to a padded hip harness. Tow bars connect to the harness where multiple attachment points allow for a perfect fit.

A Burley Ballz Thru Axle is required for any bike with a 12mm rear thru axle to use the Coho XC (stock thru axles are not able to accommodate any sort of axle mounted hitch system). Some of you people just can't get enough hauling done with your Big Dummy or your Surly trailer. Well, nutball cargo haulers, here is your solution: The Big Dumb Trailer Hitch. This handy piece replaces the wheel yoke of your Surly Bill or Ted trailer and inserts into the horizontal tubes on the non-drive side of your Surly Big Dummy cargo bike, thereby making it possible to haul your trailer using your cargo bike.
